   We had 35 first-time participants who were introduced to TiE. They gave us further 46 referalls who were invited to further sessions. 53% of the participants rated the event 5/5, 34% gave it a 4/5. 63% rated the venue and arrangements 5/5. Twitter/FB Handles, were able to reach to 6000 people  An Industry Gap Analysis survey was carried out. Results showed that 29% (19% - skilled, 10% - unskilled) of the industries/businesses faced problem in managing manpower, 19% in marketing their products and services, and 12% in Training and development of their staff.

Introduction

The TiE Nizamabad chapter was initiated by Kakatiya Sandbox, Deshpande Foundation with a vision of providing a credible ecosystem which builds a culture of entrepreneurship in two tier towns. The establishment of TiE has enabled entrepreneurs to dream big, learn from each other and equip them to scale greater heights in building organizations.  However, in the last two decades, there has been a slow but steady growth in the strength and also experience of entrepreneurs in two tier towns in India, like Hubli, Nizamabad, Warangal etc. The efforts of  TiE Nizamabad is to replicate the similar vision and model of TiE Chapters, tailored to two - tier cities of India. We believe that by creating an eco-system for entrepreneurs in two tier towns, we will be able to foster innovation and and entrepreneurship having multiple impact stories, be it product innovation, job creation, technology transfer or economic growth.

An organizing committee has been formed to plan the events, and conduct various activities. This committee meets twice a month, and apart from taking stock of the progress of TiE Nizamabad activities, internal development sessions are also conducted on LEAN management, topics and format for panel discussions.
